Recently the Echinopsis pachanoi is used in therapeutic, ‘self-healing’ sessions and even in microdosing. The San Pedro is commonly available as a potted cactus for ornamental use. WebEchinopsis is a genus of Cacti in the Cactaceae family. It is native to parts of South America (typically Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Brazil, Ecuador, Paraguay and Uruguay). Species vary in form and size – from small globose types to large columnar types. They all produce very large flower blooms, of varying colours, with long floral tubes.
